Scott Sheerin's deep interest in the mystery of healing and the spiritual nature of music has led him to become an initiated marakame' in the living tradition of the Huichol Indians and a spiritual musician practicing music as medicine. Scott began his holistic training 30 years ago receiving a Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a two year training in the Hakomi Method of Body-Centered Psychotherapy and as a pioneering practicioner of Plant Spirit Medicine. He began his shamanic apprenticeship in 1999 and was initiated as a mara'kame in 2007.

A staff member of Eliot Cowan's healing camps for 19 years Scott has helped people from around the world reconnect to heart through listening to the dream of nature. Based near Asheville, North Carolina he offers his healing work locally and at the Blue Deer Center in New York. He is also the founder of the beautiful audio resource for heart centered music
